• Where can I try on Anne et Valentin glasses in Quebec?

  At all six Bar à Lunettes boutiques: Montreal, Laval, Saint-Lambert, Bromont, Quebec City, and Sherbrooke. Not all 295 models are in stock at every location, so call ahead if you are looking for a specific model.

• How much do Anne et Valentin glasses cost?

  Between $460 and $870 for the frame only in our current selection. Metal frames generally range from $665 to $870, while acetate frames range from $460 to $870. Lenses are priced separately based on the prescription and selected treatments.

• Is Anne et Valentin a licensed brand?

  No. It is an independent eyewear house that designs its own frames, unlike fashion brands whose names are licensed to large eyewear groups. This distinction affects long-term repairability and the availability of replacement parts.

• Are Anne et Valentin frames suitable for progressive lenses?

  Yes, for most models, as long as the lens height is sufficient. Very narrow or highly rounded frames can limit the intermediate vision zone. Our opticians check compatibility before the order is placed.

• Can Anne et Valentin frames be repaired?

  Yes. Hinge repairs, temple replacements, nose pad replacements, and repolishing are all done in our Saint-Lambert workshop, including on frames purchased elsewhere.

• What is the difference between metal and acetate frames?

  Metal is lighter and more discreet, while acetate has more presence, offers more colour options, and can be heat-adjusted. In terms of durability, both perform equally well when they are properly made; the hinge is what makes the real difference.
