• Where are Marie-Sophie Dion glasses made?

  In our Saint-Lambert workshop, on Montreal’s South Shore, which opened in 2014. The design, cutting, assembly, polishing, and engraving are all done there. The acetate sheets are imported from Italy, as there are no producers of eyewear-grade acetate in North America.

• How much do Marie-Sophie Dion frames cost?

  $450 to $650 for the frame only. Lenses are priced separately based on the prescription and selected treatments.

• What is the difference between the collection and custom-made frames?

  The collection is designed in advance and produced in small batches. Custom-made frames start with your face: measurements are taken during a consultation, then the frame is designed and handcrafted using the same techniques and equipment.

• Why is each model named after a person?

  Each frame is named after the person who inspired its creation. This also makes it easy to identify the model in-store or for repairs, even years later.

• Can Marie-Sophie Dion frames be repaired?

  Yes, directly through our workshop on Montreal’s South Shore, provided the frame was purchased at Bar à Lunettes.

• What size should I choose?

  The collection comes in four sizes, with most models available in Medium (220 models) and Large (195 models). If you know the width of your current frame, that is the quickest way to filter your options. Otherwise, our opticians can measure it in just two minutes.
